How do I get to The Chorotega Hotel?
We partner with GreenAir for flights from San José to Cobano, just 10 minutes away. You can also drive (4-5 hours), take the ferry from Puntarenas, or travel via Jaco. Detailed directions and airport transfers are available upon request.

Montezuma offers incredible connections to nature: sunrise yoga, ocean view deck workouts, beaches, waterfalls, rivers, tidal pools, snorkeling at Isla Tortuga, sunset bioluminescence tours, Cabo Blanco hikes, cacao history, and turtle releases from the local hatchery.

We offer a typical breakfast of Gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, fresh fruit, juices, and coffee. Specialty dinners and private dining are available. Nearby restaurants serve everything from locally caught sushi to Costa Rican classics, with options for dietary restrictions.

How close are you to the beach and town?
We are a 3-minute walk down the hill to Montezuma town and the start of the beaches. Montezuma Beach stretches along the coast, with Playa Grande and Playa Cedros nearby. The famous Montezuma Waterfall is just 0.6 miles away.
